I AM SANTA
I AM SANTA is a grassroots movement helping feed children and families while inspiring happiness and fulfillment in each of us. We are a mission-driven company with a goal of tackling and eliminating childhood hunger in America.
I AM SANTA was born during the COVID-19 pandemic as the childhood hunger crisis in America became worse with 18 million children and over 50 million Americans experiencing food insecurity.
Our guiding values in life as well as in business are “Love Give Play” which we believe to be the three pillars of happiness. So, while giving is central to our happiness and is what makes each of us genuinely fulfilled, we also want to spread love, and playfulness, just like Santa does. I AM SANTA evokes in each of us a feeling of contentment about ourselves because we did something good today. Our mission is to equally focus on the happiness of each of our supporters, meal recipients and team members.
We were established on the conviction that a business can be a driving force for good and that each of us has Santa like powers that do make the world a much better place.
Our founders, a group of family, friends and colleagues, have been champions of numerous social causes for women and children for the past 20 years and founded this company as a way to help children and families overcome their struggles as well as focus on living a happy and fulfilled life.
We are not a nonprofit organization and we therefore do not accept donations. Our company is funded mainly through the sales of our products and each product we sell helps feed at minimum one child or as many as an entire family.
ONE MEAL COMMITMENT
We do provide at least one nutritious meal for a child or an entire family for every product purchased by our supporters.
I AM SANTA reaches children and families who are experiencing food insecurity by delivering nutritious food to them in their homes, places of worship, educational institutions, after school care and local organizations. We believe that this is a better way to serve our community, so the recipients do not have to line up for hours as is often the case with food banks. The food security as well as the dignity and pride of the recipients are equally important to us so our food often reaches them as a much welcome surprise so you are in fact their Santa and you should be very proud of yourself.
